The ‘new normal’ at Shortland Health

By June 15, 2020 June 17th, 2020 No Comments

While Alert Level 1 is the closest we’ve been to ‘normality’ for a few months, Shortland Health is still proceeding with caution when providing health care services. An approach designed to ensure patient and staff safety.

We are still offering telehealth services (such as video and phone consults) where appropriate and encourage all of our patients to use this convenient delivery method. However, face-to-face consults are available to everyone.

If you do choose to visit the practice, we will ask you a couple of screening questions and may require you to put on a mask if you have flu-like symptoms.

It is also our intention to have no more than two people in our waiting room at any one time.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to helping you at your next consult.
